Ms. Alice A. Ofori-Atta

Alice Abena Ofori-Atta is an experienced and accomplished corporate transactional attorney licenced to practice law in New Jersey (USA) and Ghana.

She has over three decades of experience working in various capacities in several corporate American institutions with the last two decades spent exclusively within the field of law in legal matters involving a broad range of M&A / Corporate and Real Estate development sectors.

Concentrates on property financing for commercial and residential real estate industry, asset based financing, estate leasing matters, collateral debt obligations in the sub-prime residential mortgage markets, analysing residential mortgage-backed securities and related risks on residential loan agreements.

Ms. Ofori-Atta holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from St. John's University, New York; Juris Doctor degree from St. John's University School of Law, New York; Barrister-at-Law degree from Ghana School of Law, Accra; Certificat de langue Francaise from Sorbonne University, Paris, France; and a Computer Programming Certificate from PSI, New York.

Ms. Valarie B. Ashitey

Valerie has been in the banking industry for over 20 years. She is currently the Head of Branch Network (Retail Banking) at Sahel Sahara Bank and part of the Executive Management Team.

Prior to joining Sahel Sahara Bank she worked for several years at Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) in various positions/roles. She was a Corporate Relationship Manager for various business sectors. She also worked on the Canadian International Development Agency Budgetary Support Programme. She was later appointed the Corporate Regional Manager for the Northern Sector with oversight responsibility for the Western Region.

During her tenure with the Bank, she was head of the Large Corporates and Multinational Team and later headed the Agribusiness, Manufacturing and Commerce Teams.

She represented UMB on the Board of Fonds de Guarantie des Investissements Prives en Afrique de L’Ouest (GARI) in Togo.

Valerie holds a Bsc. Administration degree from the University of Ghana and a Masters Degree in Finance from Centre Africain d’Etudes Superieures en Gestion (CESAG) in Senegal. She also holds a Diploma in French from Alliance Francaise and an Executive MBA from GIMPA. A chartered banker, she is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana.

Mr. Seth Abladey is electrical technician engineer, and business man. Managing Director of a real estate company.

Former government appointee at Kpone Municipal Assembly, and former board member of TDC Ghana Ltd. He is the Head of Political and Elections Research in Kpone Katamanso.

Mr. Davis Ansah Opoku MP

Hon. Davis Ansah Opoku is the Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

He started his public service as a staunch defender of civil rights and public interest with the Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG).

He played a significant role in public interest advocacy as the Director of Operations of AFAG. He served as Deputy Director and executive assistant to the Chief Executive of The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) - (2017-2019). He Provided support in the launch of the NHIS Mobile Renewal platform, a convenient method to renew NHIS policy by dialling a dedicated NHIS shortcode.

In 2020 he was elected in the general elections to represent Mpraeso Constituency in the Parliament of Ghana.

He serves as the Deputy Ranking of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Parliament and a Select Committee on Works & Housing Committee. In addition, he was recently appointed as the Public Relations Officer for the Young Parliamentarian Forum - a forum set up to boost the participation of young people in Parliament.

Hon. Ansah is a graduate of the University of Cape Coast, where he read Laboratory Technology. He continued to the University of London to study Law and then to the University of Leicester, where he completed his program in Communication. He is currently in the final stage of his Law Professional Course and master's in Law at the University of Laws.

He is a passionate advocate in human trafficking, cyber security, rural housing, and reforms in the justice delivery system. As an MP, he has devoted considerable time to use new media to promote participatory democracy in the discharge of his work.

He actively supports grassroots activities, assisting schools, artisanal programs, and portable water for communities. As a developmental agent, he has ensured that his Constituency benefit from rural telephony, roads, and educational infrastructure.

In 2021, the Forty under 40 Awards celebrated Davis as the most influential and accomplished young leader in Governance and Government agencies in Ghana.

He's the founding President of Kwahu Professionals Network (KPN), an association of Kwahus from diverse backgrounds and co-founded the Youth Economic Dialogue (YED).

Mr. Nicholas Arthur was born, bred and nurtured in Tema. He has indeed lived all his life in Tema and still lives in Tema.

In his professional life, Nicholas Arthur is a hardworking and self-motivated person, having excellent experience in general business, including supply chain management, as a Business Consultant. A maritime and shipping Professional and a proven passion for delivering commercial results with excellence.

Creative personality with the ability to influence individuals and organizations laterally and vertically. Working in a Global Conglomerate has given him the opportunity to work with different people from different cultural background, race and professions.

He has travelled extensively across the breath and length of the globe on International Business fora to formulate local, regional and global transportation, shipping and commodity policies.

Nicholas has been part of the Success Story of MAERSK as the leading International Shipping Line in Ghana and in the Global market. He is currently the Ghana Key Commodities Manager at MAERSK, Delivering Ghana Cocoa exports to the rest of the World. He has been part of shaping Global Shipping business with his twenty-five years working experience.

His Professional career started from media/communication, in the Maritime/Shipping Industry to this point where he is Globally involved in the Trading and the Management of Global Supply Chain in the export commodities segment. This has drawn him into the Domain of key international commodity Trading Houses in Europe, North America and Asia.

In the Commodity Sector, Nicholas is known to have created innovative ideas that has brought enormous benefits to Ghana and Africa as a whole. He was trained as a commodity expert from Maersk Training School in Svenborg in Denmark, studied Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom (UK) and holds a Masters Degree from the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM) in France.

He is married with five children and his hobbies are football, reading and travelling.

Surv. Samuel Abakah is a Quantity Surveyor and a Member of Ghana Institution of Surveyors, with 15 years experience in the Construction Industry in the United Kingdom and Ghana.

He is a Building Technologist currently acting as Managing Director for Builders Hub Ghana Limited, a construction company.

Mrs Gifty Caulley-Beamer is the Company Secretary and a Barrister.

She is a dual qualified Barrister in UK and Ghana with years of experience working with leading multinational companies as a Consultant and Barrister. She has a successful track record in representing and advising on various aspects of corporate, commercial litigation, property and other legal matters. She is also skilled in corporate administrative functions with a demonstrable history of successfully delivering effective good governance practices.

She holds an LLB (a Bachelor of Laws) from University of Wolverhampton, UK; a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, UK; Called to the English Bar at the Middle Temple, UK and to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Ghana.

She is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, International Bar Association and the Ghana Bar Association.
