On Wednesday, 21 May 2025, Brigadier General Isaac Paintsil, the new General Officer Commanding Southern Command, led a delegation from the Ghana Armed Forces on a working visit to TDC Ghana Ltd. Having taken up his post just a week earlier, Brigadier General Paintsil was accompanied by Lt. Col. F. Adams, Commanding Officer of 1BN (Michel Camp), and members of his command team. The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the new Southern Command leadership to TDC Ghana’s management and reaffirm the long-standing partnership between the two organizations. In his welcome remarks, TDC’s Managing Director, Mr. Courage K. M. Nunekpeku, praised the Southern Command for its “phenomenal support,” especially in resolving land-related challenges. He described the relationship as “excellent,” noting the timely assistance often provided by the 1BN Commander. A joint six-member committee has been established by Tema Oil Refinery Ltd. (TOR) and TDC Ghana Ltd. to tackle ongoing issues related to TOR’s land lease term and other associated matters. Chairman of Parliament's Select Committee on Works and Housing, Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah, has called on the government to hand over the stalled Saglemi Housing Project to TDC Ghana Limited for completion and management. Hon. Oppong Asamoah led the Committee on a working visit to some of TDC Ghana Ltd's project sites, where he expressed confidence in TDC's proven expertise in delivering national housing projects. "I strongly urge His Excellency the President to give the Saglemi Housing Project to TDC for development. It should not be handed over to private developers," he stated. On Monday, 28 April 2025, the Tema branch of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) paid a courtesy call on Mr. Courage K. M. Nunekpeku, Managing Director of TDC Ghana Ltd.
