On Wednesday, 21 May 2025, Brigadier General Isaac Paintsil, the new General Officer Commanding Southern Command, led a delegation from the Ghana Armed Forces on a working visit to TDC Ghana Ltd. Having taken up his post just a week earlier, Brigadier General Paintsil was accompanied by Lt. Col. F. Adams, Commanding Officer of 1BN (Michel Camp), and members of his command team.
The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the new Southern Command leadership to TDC Ghana’s management and reaffirm the long-standing partnership between the two organizations. In his welcome remarks, TDC’s Managing Director, Mr. Courage K. M. Nunekpeku, praised the Southern Command for its “phenomenal support,” especially in resolving land-related challenges. He described the relationship as “excellent,” noting the timely assistance often provided by the 1BN Commander.
Mr. Nunekpeku also assured Brigadier General Paintsil and his team that TDC will continue to rely on—and actively reciprocate—the Armed Forces’ invaluable support whenever possible.
